Wiki

Welcome to the Biooptics Wiki
Then you are at the right place! The purpose of this wiki is to provide aid with setting up any of our systems for imaging, be it basic or complex.
In the sidebar on the right hand side, you can navigate the wiki - under
You will find guides for startup/shutdown, how to set up incubation and environmental control and how to navigate the various software platforms.
The Wiki is continuously expanded and updated, so if you have any input, find errors, or have suggestions for material you are missing, send us an E-Mail via the usual channels.
Aside from providing technical information, manuals and guides for our instruments at the facility, you can also find useful links & tools. Check out interactive Java tutorials, from Evident (formally Olympus) - these applets visualize some central technical concepts around bioimaging.
At the bottom of the sidebar, you will also find useful links to webpages you might need during/ in preparation for an experiment. Click on the SVI logo to be directed to the Nyquist calculator or on the FPbase logo to be directed there. Information on these sites can be found here.
